West city was said to be the wealthiest city on earth, and the population here certainly felt like it. The sun shrone brightly as always, its golden rays washing over the city and the inhabitants trying to find a place to bask in the sun. The shadows felt cold as the moisture in the air condensed upon the grass, giving it a wet patchy feel to walk through. The sun kept the flesh warm while the shadows cooled harshly. The kind of morning you would rather be in doors than out to work in.
Taiyo was seated upon a bench he had preoccupied for the night, so thankfully it wasn't wet but only because Taiyo had been laying on it. The homeless man had found another shirt today, this one was something to do with a green outfitted lad trying to rescue a blonde princess. He didn't know nothing about it, but seemed pretty comfortable when he wore it. His jacket was a green tracksuit jacket, baggy and warm around his body. Both his shirt and jacket had patchwork done to hide the holes. His jeans were no different, patchwork red checkered patterned cotton was stitched into it to keep his legs warm.
His shoes were brand new cuz some really kind man decided to buy him some. Taiyo was busy admiring his shoes when someone walked up to him and when he looked up he could only see an angry business man staring down at him.
"Pathetic..."
Taiyo could only regard the stranger with a head turn in confusion, like a dog trying to understand what someone just said.
"You there, laying on your side in public. Don't you have a job, a place to work? Can't you just clean yourself up? Its embarrassing."
Taiyo simply shrugged and gave the man his friendly smile he always did. This seemed to only infuriate the man who then launched into a tirade of insults about how Taiyo was a parasite on society and how he should be thrown out to better mankind. Taiyo just simply looked at him and like water off a ducks back, he didn't even seem concerned. It wasn't till a young man approached from the side of the car the business man owned that the insults stopped a moment.
Taiyo said nothing as they exchanged words and then the boss suddenly turned his anger to his assistant about being late to tell him about some important matter. The smaller assistant said nothing, his feet shuffling as he tried not to shed tears of shame and sadness. Once the boss finished his plethora of curses, he walked off muttering degrading words to the poor young man. Taiyo on the other hand simply watched him walk away with a smile.
The assistant looked to Taiyo as he smiled on before his face twisted into anger as well and Taiyo was suddenly found with yet another angry stranger.
"What are you smiling about? You homeless bum!"
Toxic words were spat from the assistants mouth only for Taiyo to turn his attention to the young man and simple shrug.
"I have much to smile about. I am healthy, whole and happy. Why aren't you smiling?"
Taiyo asked only for the young man's anger to subside a moment as he processed that question. However the businessman now called out to his assistant who quickly rushed to his bosses side. The two exchanged words, the businessman's words more heated insults while the assistant simply got the car ready with mumbled "yes, sir," or "no,sir." Once both were in the car, it began to float before finally launching away to join the rest of the sky traffic.
This left Taiyo alone on his bench once more while people walked by and the sun warmed his face. Today was going to be a good day.

Isamu PL: 4,098 West City WC: 544 Isamu was far from a good person. In fact, he probably could be considered a bad person. He was the type of person to take candy from a baby just for the heck of it, because who doesn't love candy? Anyway, it goes without saying that Isamu usually wouldn't care about some hotshots talking down on a homeless person. To be honest, it wouldn't really matter who was talking down on who, because Isamu typically has no interest in other people that don't serve him. This homeless guy was different. Isamu had been lounging around in his underwear when he picked up a nearby energy signature. After throwing on his usual attire, he hit the skies to scratch the itch that'd been bothering him. A few minutes later and WHAM! There he was. And there he was, indeed. Given his background in fight clubs and with various gangs, Isamu had been expecting some kind of rugged, tough guy covered in tattoos and groupies. Instead, it was a man in tattered, patchwork clothing. Was he the king of the bums? A few businessmen who couldn't keep their mouths shut just had to poke the sleeping bear, berating the man for his less fortunate circumstances. Instead of getting angry or retaliating, the homeless man just smiled and said some philosophical nonsense. Clearly, he was no stranger to sleeping on a park bench. The pink-haired fighter did his best to keep a low profile, hands in his jacket pocket as he watched from afar. Not that he cared about being spotted, but just so he could get a sense of what the man was like candidly. Seeing his serenity in the face of adversity spoke volumes about the man's character. Isamu didn't care about his character. He cared about his power. Once the businessmen moved on, Isamu moved in. He shoved a random pedestrian aside as he made his approach, and once he was close enough, he began. "Hobo," Isamu bluntly addressed, "Forget about their weak minds and bodies. There's something I need to know:" Once the words left his mouth, his test began. He flared up his energy, allowing his aura to be seen and his power be on display. While he held his dramatic pause in speech, he pulled off his jacket and tossed it carelessly in the wind. As of late, Isamu had been prowling for powerful people whom he could eventually fight and surpass as he scrambled for the top of the totem pole. By testing their reaction to his power, he could determine whether they were worth fighting or not. Flexing his own power was just a pre-test for the real test that followed. Once he was in close-range of the man, Isamu put one hand out in front of him, then placed a fist on his open palm. "Play me in a game of rock-paper-scissors. Winner takes all." This was the real test. Aura still flared, Isamu shoved any and all objectives for the day aside for a very important game of rock-paper-scissors. Most people wouldn't understand why it was so important, but Isamu was able to learn a lot about a person based on how they played. The homeless man's fate (in Isamu's life) rested on his next few moments.

Taiyo was still laid back even as the man approached, his eyes half lidded in calm and relaxed. The stranger did not introduce themselves but told Taiyo to forget about their weak minds and bodies. Frankly Taiyo had already forgotten who he was talking about. Feeling the dry mouth taking hold he licked around in his own mouth while listening to the man. It was when he powered up that Taiyo's eyes went wide and he showed interest like someone seeing something for the first time. "Bro... You're on fire... Thats awesome."Taiyo stated as he chuckled and reached out to try to grab the aura only for it to not burn him. He smiled goofily as he played with the aura, enjoying how it moved through his fingers. He wasn't acting like a child, but he was humored by the aura for a moment. It was then the man leaned down to ask if he wanted to play Rock paper scissors. Taiyo shrugged and chuckled. "Sure man. I ain't got much on me but I'll give ya whatever is in my pocket."Taiyo stated at the winner takes all part, the homeless man shifting and pulling pocket lent along with some change out of it. "Which is... uh..."Taiyo stated as he tried to count the zenny by not moving it, only to have to start over once or twice. "26 zenny."Taiyo said before holding it out, forgetting he was suppose to play for it first. He had forgotten while counting that they were even talking about rock paper scissors and the bet. Taiyo currently was simply trying to give the man his pocket zenny cuz for some reason he believed the man wanted it. WC: 288

Isamu stared at the man in confusion as he mindlessly played around with his aura. Under usual circumstances, Isamu wouldn't have let somebody treat his own power so carelessly, but for some reason, he had no problem with this guy doing it. Maybe it had something to do with his own comparable power, or maybe it was something else. Either way, Isamu didn't care about that. It was what the man did next that he wanted to see. Instead of playing into the game, Isamu watched as his new acquaintance rummaged around in his pocket and pulled out a small amount of money. Isamu blankly stared at the zenny in the homeless man's hand, but he made no move to take it. He just held his hand on his palm, anxiously waiting to play a game of rock-paper-scissors. After waiting a few moments for the guy to join in on his game, Isamu dropped his arms back to his side and let his power die down. "Hey..." He began before leaning in close, "...I see what's going on here. You think I'm not worth your time." Isamu was not a great judge of character. When other people disregarded his request to play rock-paper-scissors, he usually just beat them up for disrespecting his wishes. The man in front of him was different. Isamu returned to his full height and put his hands in front of him again, ready to play, "I'll throw in some stakes, then! If you win, I'll leave you alone to bask in the sunlight of modern society, as it seems you wish to do. Hell, I'll even let you hold onto your money. But if I win, you have to fight me. Right here and now!" He didn't mention what he'd do if they tied, mostly because it didn't cross his mind. Chances were, Isamu would try to weasel a fight out of the man even if he lost the game. Otherwise his trip into the city would've been a waste of time! WC: 336 TWC: 880

Taiyo watched the guy lean in close and before asking if he thought he wasn't worth his time. Taiyo's face took on a sad expression as he felt like he had offended the other person. Without another word, Taiyo held out his hands regardless of the outcome. Not because he wished to be left alone, or because the man wanted to fight him... No the expression on his face as he got ready to play was one of an apologetic fellow. The man smile up at the other as they got ready to play.
"Aye. I didn't realize playing rock paper scissors meant so much to ya! I am sorry. Lets play. We can fight if ya want even if I win."
Taiyo stated happily, just wishing to make this seemingly large but actually small wrong right. Without waiting for his opponent to begin the man looked down at his hand before beginning.
"Rock, paper, scissors, Shoot!"
Taiyo stated before revealing his hand to be paper before holding it up to show his new acquaintance his palm, smiling lazily as he wiggled his hands.
"I got paper, what did you get mister?"
Taiyo asked, waiting patiently for the man to reveal his hand or not. Perhaps he would cheat, perhaps he would be honest, either way Taiyo wouldn't be upset. He was just happy to be here and talking to people. Every moment was a blessing and the man was gobbling up each moment with the joys of an elderly man in his youth. Chuckling happily while he looked at the man's hair, the pink hue was a nice color.
"You have a very nice shade of hair sir. Is that natural?"
Taiyo asked pointing up at the man's head and waiting patiently for that response, having almost forgotten they were playing rock paper scissors before. Though he still held up his paper hand while he looked up at his guest.

Much to Isamu's delight, the homeless man agreed to play his petty little game. From his many match-ups against other combatants, Isamu had learned how to psychoanalyze people based on how they played rock-paper-scissors. A simple game to some meant a great deal more to the pink-haired fellow. He could learn everything he needed to know about someone in a matter of seconds. He anxiously wiggled the fingers on his playing hand, considering what the man on the bench might decide to play. At first, Isamu figured he'd go scissors, but after his brief interaction so far, Isamu started to think he was more of a paper thrower. The man seemed quite laid back and carefree, so paper was fitting... Is what he'd want Isamu to think! If the homeless man had a power signature similar to any other regular human, Isamu would've figured he'd throw paper. But to be as strong as he was, no, this man had to be a rock thrower! Someone with his personality and power combination wouldn't play anything else! To win, Isamu had to throw paper! Before Isamu could think any further, the man was on the offensive. Most people either let Isamu dictate the pace of the game, or they'd chant in unison, but this guy just took the reigns. Rather than getting a chance to psychoanalyze between each beat, Isamu just had to go with the flow. Rock. Paper. Scissors. Shoot! Isamu's flat, open hand mirrored that of the man in front of him, who completely subverted his expectations by playing paper after all. This man clearly had more layers to him than he ever could have expected. He wasn't always a homeless man sitting on a bench in West City, rather, he was once a world-class fighter who trained at a prestigious dojo with a legendary sensei. His carefree nature sent him in an unintentional spiral to madness, but after training his mind, spirit, and body for decades, nothing could get under his skin. The reality of it was, Isamu saw himself in this man. He could see it now: going to the dojo after school each day to live up to his strict parents' expectations, only to fail miserably and miss out on dinner for the third time that week. He still pushes himself to improve, though, for the sake of his kind sensei, who wishes to pass on his legendary status to Isamu, his star pupil. Bearing the weight of the world on his shoulders just to live up to everybody's expectations, only for it all to come crashing down all at once. It should have made him remorseful and sad, but really, it was a relief to be freed of his shackles. Now he lazes around the city on his own schedule, doing what he pleases and laughing at the miserable lives people of society subject themselves to. That was who Isamu believed this man to be. Both of them played paper, after all. A tear rolled down Isamu's cheek as he thought about his hypothetical alternate life. When the man asked about the color of his hair, he couldn't help but answer honestly, "I dye my hair to hide my insecurities and to bring attention to myself."He wiped the tear away as he looked at the man in front of him, regarding him with a different perspective than before, "What is your name, sir? As the challenger, I, Isamu Takahiro, believe the best way to break this tie is with a true battle. We'll do our families proud." Regardless of what happened in their rock-paper-scissors game, Isamu wanted to fight. He had to. Defeating this man meant more to him than anything right now, even if it was in a respectful bout. Taiyo watched as the man's eyes seem to unfocus for a moment, perhaps memories or something was what he saw. Whether through the ending of the memory for good or ill, the sword monk watched as he came back and began to shed a tear. Boy Taiyo sure was making this guy sad today. He didn't know what to do to make it up to the poor pink haired fellow. He spoke of how he dyed his hair to hide his insecurities. Taiyo simply nodded with a solemn look upon his face.
"Aye, Aye. Its alright to want to hide. But I think you would look nice no matter how your hair was put."
Taiyo stated while closing his eyes to smile happily at his new found friend. He didn't see people for their appearances, only for who they could be. He saw no reason for this man to hide his insecurities to anyone, as he wished all the wonderful sensation of feeling safe.
"I see... My name is Taiyo Kodomo, and I dunno about making no one proud but... If ya feel so strongly about it I can't say no to a friendly fight."
Taiyo stated before slowly rising to his feet, his slouched posture an indication of how relaxed he was at that moment. Without a word however the sword monk would pull out a joint before beginning to light it up and chuckling to his new friend.
"Well I'd like to go somewhere we won't hurt no body. So How about we go on the roof tops, make it like an arena. First to fall out loses."
Taiyo gesturing up above so that their battle would not harm anyone if they were careful. The human slightly bent his legs before suddenly being flung into the air, track suit jacket flapping in the wind as he leaped high into the air and landed upon the roof. There Taiyo would stumble a bit before coming to a balanced stop with a "phew" of relief. The sword monk then looked about the place with a smile while he observed their arena.
Roughly the same size as the arena used in the budakai's and the only obstacle was a few air units, an exit along with some clothing lines. The water tank on the other building was pretty close too. Now that he had seen what he wished, Taiyo returned his attention to his guest who he assumed after being so enthusiastic, would come following along. With a repasted friendly smile the man turned to his new friend Isamu.
"Is this good enough sir?"
Taiyo asked, a mild bit of teasing in his voice as he let both his hands rest on their corresponding sword. Hina on his right and Yugure on his left, the two blades humming their excitement while Taiyo just remained calm. It was nearly three years ago now that Taiyo got into his last fight... He didn't feel like getting beat to a pulp, but he also didn't want to refuse. So he supposed he would just see how far it went. Hopefully Hina kept her cool today.

Taiyo Kodomo. The name of a true warrior, a rare breed in Isamu's life. He would cherish every moment he got with the man. As for Taiyo's kind words, as inspirational as they were, they fell on deaf ears. Isamu wasn't the type to listen to compliments or advice, especially not after fabricating an entire backstory and sense of importance to an otherwise normal man. That said, somebody being nice to Isamu was a change of pace from the usual jeers and curses. Maybe he and Taiyo did have something in common after all. Regardless, Taiyo suggested moving to a more suitable location for their spar. While Isamu had no regard for the safety of other people or things, he didn't want to push his luck with his new idol. Not yet, at least. After all, they'd tied in rock-paper-scissors, so he was lucky to even still get a fight in the first place. Hearing the suggestion, Isamu nodded and agreed, "Of course, a modified sumo match sounds great!"Isamu watched, starry-eyed, as Taiyo leapt into the skies toward one of the rooftops. A random passerby may have been confused by the act, but the man looked like a superhero in the eyes of Isamu. He'd seen plenty of fighters jump long distances using their strength before, but he cooed to himself in admiration, "He's so awesome."Only a second or two passed before Isamu floated up to the roof behind Taiyo. He looked around at the spacious rooftop, only blotted by a few things he'd expect to be there anyway. If their battle was as epic in proportions as Isamu had envisioned, they'd probably get flattened anyway. He put his hands on his hips and looked around, smiling at their soon-to-be battlefield. "This is perfect. I'd expect nothing less from someone with your eye, Taiyo." Isamu did a few quick stretches as his mind teemed with ideas on how to engage such a powerful foe. Before they started, Isamu gave a quick warning, "Just so you're aware, I hate losing, but I love fighting. You've been kind to entertain me up to this point, Taiyo, but the Isamu you're about to meet..." He held his fists up and released a deep breath, readying himself for the impending battle, "...it's the real me. I know you won't disappoint me, but I may disappoint you. Be prepared."A crisp breeze rolled over the rooftop as Isamu finished saying his piece. He was going to get his wish, a real fight with someone he regarded highly. It was why he'd even left the house for the day. The time had come. WC: 439 TWC: 1,506

Taiyo simply nodded with the praise and smiled warmly but he knew what the man was about to say. That it was time to fight, that the man wouldn't hold back and that the man might be someone different than Taiyo had known. The sword monk simply held up his left hand responsible for Yugure and gave a weary smile. He didn't really like fighting but if he had to... well he would. Drawing his breath, Taiyo let it out as long thin streams of smoke emerged. He viewed this as a serious fight, and given civilians are nearby, he wouldn't take chances.
Unsheathing Hina slowly, the blade sang her song of freedom. Like an elegant woman stretching after a long nap, his blade went silent as she fell to place at his side. Taiyo's right hand gripping the hilt firmly for a moment and the sword rattled its approval. The other sword vibrated slowly in her sheath and Taiyo ran a hand over her hilt to sooth the blade. In due time, in due time. With that out of the way, Taiyo's movements began to form little after images. Not quite perfect, not yet... but it was clear Taiyo was still learning himself.
"No no, it will be quite alright. I am sure both of you are pleasant to be around."
Taiyo stated with confidence, his smile still present even as he held Hina firmly in one hand, walking backwards with his left hand empty facing the enemy. His rippling After image technique wasn't suppose to be as transparent as they were, but it was clear this style was being worked on. Slowly Taiyo drifted about the arena, barely moving his limbs but seeming to move great distances with floaty movements. He kept his distance mostly but remained within range of his foe.

Isamu took a few steps forward as the fight began, with a goal of staying as close to the center of the rooftop as possible. If their goal was to knock the other off, being near the edge was certainly not in his best interest. Taiyo unsheathed one of his blades, then he started moving around defensively. As far as he could tell, Taiyo was looking for an opening. While Isamu waited, it seemed like it was getting harder to track the hobo. Isamu blinked in confusion, then squinted to try to fix his eyesight, but Taiyo seemed to be leaving visual illusions behind. His minimal movements didn't help either, which was clearly intentional. If he focused, Isamu could pinpoint the real Taiyo, but the illusions were definitely throwing him off his game. Distraction definitely seemed to be the goal, which meant if he spent too much time grappling with the real Taiyo VS an illusion, Isamu would have an opening somewhere. To avoid being a victim of the moment, Isamu took a gamble. He lunged at his opponent, based on where his latest afterimage was, and tried to give a big bear hug to Taiyo, where he would then try to throw him toward one of the edges of the building. Even though he'd never fought against someone with swords before, Isamu knew he wanted to get within its reach so it couldn't cut or slice him. Plus, he knew a successful toss probably wouldn't end the fight already, but Isamu wanted to gain control of the bout early on. Taiyo was prepare for a ki blast, a punch, a kick, hell even a head butt. His opponent however decided to be a complete and utter odd ball. The sword monk's eyes going wide as he emitted an "eh?" before suddenly being hurled through the air like a doll. The sword monk spinning wildly as he couldn't fly or even use ki. So the man tumbled down and down until a resounding boom could be heard as bottles or other things rattled upon his impact.
Thankfully Taiyo had landed in some rather soft garbage and he was staring up at the sky with a blank look of confusion. Huh, guess he just lost. Wow Iramu sure was strong! Taiyo began to laugh happily and finding the amusing side of losing, the man stood up before dusting himself off. A few people coming over to ask if the hobo was ok, and why was he hanging out on the roof? The man simply holding up his hands as he tried to give a proper response.
Just then a police officer showed up and began to question if he was some sort of thief. The man could only hold his hands up in defense while he tried to explain that he was just play fighting with his friend. Whether people believed it or not was a different story. Some claimed he was a liar, others claimed he was just another bum trying to break into someone's window, and one old lady was calling him a pervert. He could do nothing as he was defenseless to their accusations. He hoped Iramu got away safely or wasn't going to cause trouble.

For as long as he could remember, Isamu's hunches were never wrong. They may have needed some tweaking here and there, especially before engaging in a contest to gauge his hunch, but all-in-all, he could usually get a pretty good read on someone. Living life in some pretty unsavory places and around some unwelcoming people, he'd figured out who to avoid when it came to getting his hopes up. The fight he'd just had with Taiyo, someone he'd considered to be his equal... it completely shattered his hopes and dreams. Taiyo was not someone worth calling his equal, he was just some happy-go-lucky swordsman. Isamu didn't think he'd throw Taiyo straight off the building, thereby winning the fight, but he didn't account for the man's inability to fly or maneuver after getting tossed. He knew most people weren't able to fly, but Taiyo hadn't been like most people. Even his movements when they first started the fight seemed more elegant and refined than someone who could be so easily bested. To be fair, most people wouldn't have changed their opinion on someone else so quickly based on a fight with unorthodox rules, since they didn't really fight, but Isamu was rather boneheaded. To him, Taiyo was either much weaker than he'd initially believed, or, he was toying with him. Either way, it didn't sit right with the pink-haired fighter. While Taiyo got heat from the locals for various accusations, Isamu peered over the edge and grit his teeth. The rules they'd set deemed him the winner of the tiebreaker, meaning he'd won the rock-paper-scissors game. By that logic, that meant he was still due for a proper fight, since that was the stipulation of him winning. Under his breath, he growled, "I will not let you make a mockery of me, Taiyo."He now had a new goal in mind. He needed to see if Taiyo really was one-in-the-same as him, or if his hunch had been wrong. To do that, he'd need the hobo to fight somewhat seriously, with both of the swords in his possession. Isamu didn't care about the rules or laws of the land. He'd spent plenty of dark, lonely nights in various jail cells around the world for things that meant significantly less to him than this fight. Defeating Taiyo, truly defeating him, meant he was a step closer to his overall goal in life. It had to be done. Instead of running away from the scene and leaving his sparring partner to fend for himself, Isamu took a few steps back, then he leapt off the building, feet first. While he plummeted toward the ground, he yelled out his opponent's name to get his attention, "TAIYO!!" Even Isamu didn't like a cheap shot. He'd tried to angle himself and jump in a way that'd allow him to deliver a flying dropkick squarely on the homeless man's chest, so long as it wasn't blocked or avoided. Taiyo was laughing nervously as the officer threatened to arrest him. When the voice of Isamu rang out, Taiyo looked up just in time to avoid the kick. Jumping back just in time to get out of the way, and landing gracefully a small distance away. Sheathing his swords, Taiyo raised a hand to the back of his head and chuckled. He didn't know how Isamu felt about the fight but him shouting his name while trying to kick him didn't spell a very pleasant future conversation.
The people gathered all scattered a bit when Isamu showed up, unexpectedly and from no where. The police officer fell on his back while his partner who was rather large and looked as unfit as could be stepped forward with his little baton. Clearly intent upon giving Isamu a beating but before he could do anything, his baton would suddenly fall in half. The upper part clanking against the ground and Taiyo smiling knowingly. Isamu could probably see him use a thin piece of ice like glass slice the baton in two. The sword monk barely moving but to a trained eye they'd have seen him form it and throw it discretely.
With the police man sufficiently distracted and out of the picture for the moment, Taiyo returned his attention to Isamu.
"Congratulations on your win my friend. I didn't expect a grab! It was a fantastic opener. Didn't see it coming."
Taiyo stated with clear joy in his voice, having lost but was still happy. To him he lost fair and square, he felt no shame in losing to a superior opponent. He also didn't like fighting, but he hadn't thrown the fight intentionally. He had just not expected something and lost. He hoped Isamu could see it the same way.

To the surprise of everybody, except Isamu and probably Taiyo, the ground shattered into hundreds of pieces when the pink-haired fighter slammed into it with his feet. He'd come up empty, even with such a powerful attack, and now he stood just a few feet away from his sparring partner. Isamu had no interest or regard for the random human spectators in the area. They all lived meaningless lives anyway, at least in his mind, so he only had his focus locked on Taiyo. He noticed the police officer preparing to swing the baton out of the corner of his eye, but before Isamu could react, Taiyo threw something to make light work of the weapon - not that it would've done anything to Isamu anyway. Seeing his little trick with the glass shard, and that he'd managed to avoid the dropkick, only made Isamu more frustrated. Taiyo clearly had a lot more in the tank and a lot more tricks up his sleeve, but because of how quickly their rooftop rumble ended, he wouldn't get a chance to see them. When the homeless man gave his sincere praise, Isamu took it as a taunt. When it came to fighting, Isamu and Taiyo were way different. Where Isamu loved a good exchange of fists and hits, Taiyo seemed not to be all that interested. It should have made sense - and to most people, it probably did - but Isamu couldn't wrap his head around it. Why even be strong if not to fight and get stronger? Rather than pressing the issue, Isamu took a deep breath and rose to his full height. Their draw in the game of rock-paper-scissors had turned out to be more impactful than he could have imagined. Clearly, they were meant to come to a stalemate today, even if he'd technically won the fight. Isamu held back tears as he swallowed back his frustrations. Then, through a somewhat shaky voice, he conceded, "Fine. There is no winner today, Taiyo. You win." What? "Next time we see each other, though, you'll see how strong I am!"With nothing left to say, Isamu turned and began to trudge away through the crowd, ignoring whatever jeers and jabs the pedestrians may have tried to throw at him. --attempt exit-- WC: 376 TWC: 2,634

Taiyo watched Isamu carefully as the man stood up and then proclaimed that the sword monk had won. The man's eyes going wide in surprise of the warriors words but also by the shaky tone of his voice. It was clear his new friend was deeply offended by Taiyo's actions and despite his clear intentions to make it better... Isamu didn't agree it seemed. Rubbing the back of his head as Isamu walked away, the crowd remaining silent as he walked past after destroying the ground like he had.
Taiyo sighed in defeat, feeling rather unhappy with the current events, the man would pull out a paper to begin rolling a joint while he walked past the group of gawkers. By the time he had walked past them and starting down the street Taiyo had already rolled the joint with amazing precision. Quickly lighting it and taking a long drawn out puff, the sword monk simply shrugged his shoulders trying to forget how disappointed Isamu had been. He supposed the man had expected something else from Taiyo and the sword monk didn't have it. He was saddened by this but accepted it as the will of the world. Brushing it off mentally, Taiyo gathered his things at the bench before heading off on a new adventure!
